Your feedback is an integral part of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan process. We invite you to visit our Virtual Open House and provide your feedback on the needs and priorities for parks and recreation facilities and services in your community.

As part of the City of Tampa Parks & Recreation Department’s efforts to reimagine our parks, recreation programs, and department services, the City held a series of Virtual Community Meetings in an effort obtain public input.
All meetings were open to the public, and were held via Zoom. A video of the presentation can be viewed using the links to the meeting pages on the right, and PDFs of the presentation are available for download.

Gold Medal Finalist
With your input we can continue to push the envelope forward and together Transform Tampa’s Tomorrow.
Tampa Parks and Recreation was recently nominated for the 4th time as a finalist for the 2021 National Gold Medal Awards for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. Agencies are judged on their ability to address the needs of those they serve through the collective energies of community members, staff members and elected officials.
Tampa Parks & Recreation joins three other finalists in their class that will compete for Grand Plaque honor which will be awarded in September.
